Bali 2016

The hand craftsmanship of everything is amazing...salt of the earth people for sure.

Kusamba Beach

This beach has volcanic black sand as other beaches on north east area of the island.
There are few groups of local people in this area who do salt mining with traditional way.
This beach also become a place to ship construction materials (lumber ,brick, roof, etc) by boat to Nusa Lembongan island on the south

Oceanprist,

Some shots from the salt farmer village.

Seas are rough, with the surf type waves making it hard work for the porters and boatmen loading up supplies for nearby islands.

Portrait of a Porter by jenkwang, on Flickr

I like the genuine-ness of this place.
Just folks busy going about their work.

This portrait clearly demonstrates the level of details which the K-1 can deliver and the handling by FA 77 mm .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The depth of field from the FF is clearly shown here, with the back of the hat easing off into the distance.
