Bag for rangefinder

Day 2 day I simply use my normal messenger bag (bought from the Gap last year). There's nothing more inconspicuous then a normal bag. It carries my camera, film, and a couple of lenses in the pockets...right now it has in it an R2a+28/1.9 on with a 50/1.5 Nokton and 21/4 Skopar in a side compartment.

If I need to carry more, then I have a Domke F2.

I use a Domke J-803 when I'm prowling the streets. I like the bag because...

  • It is smallish, indiscreet and DOES NOT look like a camera bag
  • Waterproof and secure
  • Well padded
  • Great quality one would expect from a Domke
  • Fits 1 or 2 smaller bodies, along with 3-4 lenses plus accessories easily
  • Metal latch provides quick and quiet access to main compartment (as opposed to quik lok latches, velcro or zip)
  • Includes a surprising number of compartments, it's a lot more storage than meets the eye
