Didn't notice the frame was abit warped till i went to change the string, then the shop owner told me.....heart pain sia. Anyway sportscity which is located at tampines telepark does quite a good job of restringing rackets. Just had mine restring 2 months back, very even tension throughout.

for ppl choosingt Yonex rackets:

The top of the y-axis reads as " smash/attacking style" and the bottom of that axis reads as " receive/defensive style". On the x-axis the far right reads as " singles-orientated " and the far left side as " doubles-orientated "

thanks for the advice guys. was hoping if anyone had lobang for mass order price for shuttles

even mass order, price can be slightly cheaper only ... because the profit from this shuttlecock is very small...........

I find shuttlecocks a high recurring cost. Currently using Yonex AS-30.. $25 for a tube. Anywhere else cheaper or are there cheaper brands/models that are the same standard as these?

Am at beginner level at the moment. For racquet, using Carbonex 10 SP which I like very very much.

We are using Syntech and Protech.... I tot in Singapore this is the best shuttlecock that balance price and quality, of course we count out Yonex because it was too expensive hehehe......

Now my fav racket is MP99, follow by Ti10 and Woven boss .... this no brand racket is quite good for me ....

Carbonex 8 or 9 already so long time ago .... now all the T-join is in one shaft, using more technology to match speed and power of the players.

I am still using my green Carbonex 8 which is at least 22 years old now ! :bigeyes:
I have not played for about 15 years. Recently started playing with my kids and the Carbonex 8 is still as good as ever (with new strings of course).

Forget about those cheap shuttlecocks. Bought a tube and junked them immediately.

i'm still using a Yonex New Prince, passed down from my elder brother to me. it must have been at least 20 years old.

my first 'serious' racket is a Robertson Wilson full-frame racket. forgotten the model name... haha

its still with me till today. man... its been a long time since i last touch my racket...


anyone used to play competitively? i.e represent ur schools... etc.etc...

ProAce widebody 55 and Aptif widebody and prokennex wide body is good....
but you gotta do some modification for the grip....

they wioll be a super powerful SMACHER......

i think i still have one of those classic wooden frame badminton racket buried somewhere in my storeroom...
man, those are pretty sturdy and heavy.
