were u using handheld?? cause most of your fireworks' trails were not straight and were short for some too.. if so then u may wan to use ISO 100 or 200 on a tripod on long exposure.. then u can get some beautiful trails of fireworks..

from your angle of the #9 photo, i can see that u are standing near to the fireworks on shear's bridge.. so maybe u want to stand further away from the fireworks then it will allow more things to be included in your photos..

u can set potrait for your #7 photo then u can include a bit of the scenery of buildings.. but that is of course with no smoke blocking u..

try to compose photos such that your fireworks are not cut off or your buildings are not cut off.. for #7 and #8 u may wan to zoom in on juz the fireworks..

Hi i would like to know that whether if all cameras can use remote control trigger? Because due to my clumsy hand, even when i use a tripod and shutter is 2 seconds, i still shake the camera a little and makes the photo bad, so can i know whether if all cameras can use remote control trigger?

Well.. sorry to say that not all camera come with the remote control as part of their accessories. What you can do is use a self timer to take those photo. But selftimer usually is 2 -10 secs waiting time b4 the shuttle open.

This way definately you won't get any camera shake. Due to the nature of fireworks shooting. I think this method is very waste of time. The best way is still try to stabilized ur shaking hand.. avoid big movement.

What i do for my camera is just half press the shuttle.. then press fully to take the pic. And then release the shuttle back to the half - pressed state. This way, you can minimize the chance of getting a blured pic.

Hello... How do i check whether my camera has cable release (is that what it is called?)... i realised the importance of it during the fireworks. Was using the 2 sec timer and missed alot of nice shots =(.

aiya i sort of missed the fireworks. cos was tied up w stuffs n went out late near 7pm. then on e way, traffic jam for almost 1 hr. anyway didnt take any shots but managed to get out of e vehicle by e road side n enjoyed the fireworks. lol
