Bad experience in SLRR

To TS, maybe you should have left the shop, get a friend to enter and ask if can pre-order. :bsmilie:
Take it ez, at most get the K5 from other places.
I guess diff custs get diff service.

Personally I had good experience at SLR, bought quite afew stuff there.

But not my friend. I intro-ed her there, she reserved a lens, the night after she bought it, the salesman sms and also called her "askin to make friends". :nono:
Wondering if I should "bao toh" the fellow. :dunno:

Actually if slrr want to cheat u , they can just take yr deposit ， ＂preorder" for u , then call u 1hr later and tell u yr preorder had come and sell u the set u had saw just now .

This thread is a perfect example of the fickle customer who doesn't know much about buying, then coming over here to voice his frustration at the shop. Actually I don't see the shop doing anything improper here. :complain:

Hi neoenter, i guess some of us here uds how you feel. of cse there are ppl here who wish to express their own, sometimes a little narrow, opinion. this seems like a fair case of misunderstanding and perhaps indecisiveness on your part, but definitely, you do not deserve some the harsh criticism directed at you in some of the posts. I hope this hasn't put you off buying a Pentax as they have really good cameras.

Moderator, i think perhaps its time to close the thread. Its getting a bit pointless, and as fellow pentaxians, i guess we dont wish to see members of our own family engaging in such undesirable tirades of words.

You can also buy in one months time and another shop, so just walk away if you feel disadvantaged.

TS, first, Pentax K-5 is a very good cam for owner. Then, if the shop is not good as you expect, can leave it. Tons of machines produced per day from factory, no worries for the dealers at all. DSLR just like a pc or laptop. What is the market rate for Nikon D2Xs now compared with few years ago.

last week i went to hawker centre.

the week before the price for fishball soup was $2.50. this week they change the price on sat to $3.00. so i told the uncle i wanted some fishball soup, and he took out a fresh packet of fishballs and cut it open. the fishballs look a bit poked by people (don't know why) but i told him i wanted to draw cash cos got no cash. so the uncle started cooking the fishball soup.

on the way to cash machine, i realise that i wanted to eat the fishballs with some chilli, which i had ordered but will arrive a month later. the other thing is that i was worried about the fishballs being poked by people. i will not be able to pair the fishballs with chilli if i buy the fishball soup now.

i told the uncle, next month i come back and buy from you, this time don't want fishball soup.

the uncle told me, next month i come back, he won't keep any fishballs for me.

i feel so cheated... in the meantime, i don't eat fishballs anymore... can't find elsewhere..

Hi Bros, I used my canon camera for many years, more than 10 bodys, from G5 to 5D MKII. so please make voice before you know. No assuming and guessing. tks (I really can not understand what happened in pentax. No shops sells pentax k5 except for SLRR)

my case may be a bad example for purchasing. But i think it is also a example for customer who take action to protect their right for choosing.

it is a bit extreme. However, just like testing DSLR, everyone will see the performance under dark and high ISO. the staff in SLRR may perform well if everyone is cash and carry. no troublesome at all.

but when a troublesome case like me came to them, they acts totally different way.
Similar as one bros mentioned, once a girl came to them, they also acts to sms her directly and ask for friends. no professional at all for this staff.

if you dont want to voice your frustration, how come the shop will care our customers. They will be aggresive cos they has some supporting from the guys like you.

Furthermore, please do not choose to ignore some facts mentioned previously.
