I usually go there 15-30 mins earlier, order room service (if couple in hotel) or order some ala-carte (if couple in restaurant). Fill up stomach first then started working.

After the shoot, if couple nice enough, they'll offer another room service or ala-carte. ;-)

I would suggest:

Professional - Maximum/substential pay
Semi Pros - Medium pay
Ameteurs - Low pay
Newbies - Free meals + Transportation + some token of appreciation.

Based on current market value.

P/S: I know for sure someone will ask what's the current market value. Anyone care to comment? OT... :sweat:

Maybe next time, those companies who look for free photographers or photography service need to be more creative in order to hunt for free things. The CS members here are smart and intelligent, sometimes humourous.

(And pls dont use a new nickname or new company name each time u repeat yourself.)
