Babe on a bar top

there's a very different feel to this picture, it has lots of elements that make you re-look at it, the vignetting is unique, it gives one a sense of time travelling.. probably back to the past... the bar-top's just.. retro... reminds me of one of those ancient kopitiams at boatquay area last time.. those pre-war shop houses type.

interesting retro-fan on the left.. brings back memories.. at least 10-15 years back.. and the ash tray on the right is.. :)~

nice shot! but.. ahem.. if you had a more seductive model in slightly better dressing, this picture would be.. perfect. it was the shoes that i felt was a little out of place

this is cool
but am i wrong - is there tilt to the left here
i keep seeing the model sliding off the bartop in my mind :dunno:

color is nice...the rest, especially on the model, I'd like to drink more beer, then I will comment.

 OMG, has the word 'BABE' been redefined ?

what's the opposite of eye candy;)

babe or not, i care not. as long as she is good beer company, i couldn't ask for more.

Thanks for the information. I did not post it there.

 eeyer
leech photo like that
maybe it's some cs member, how unethical, at least give credit, source? also never

i wonder what's wrong with people these days, the high proliferation rate of photographic equipment doesn't seem to be matched with an equally open appreciation for art.

nice attempt razor, willing model with your usual unique post processing. as for unsatisfactory points, i find her still not relaxed enough infront of the camera, the glow around the model and the bottle might look overly contrived as well, maybe a smoother transition of brightness for a more natural feel on the overall ;)

Thanks Eikin. Points noted.

Just to highlight that the post-processing for this pic is done by Shahrecover, not me. I kinda like his style of post-processing and i think it gives the photo some kind of character, far more than how the original shoot look like. So i asked him to do the post work for me.

:)

wow, you're subcontracting the workflow! :bsmilie:

yah, the contrast is quite appealing, just that the halo effect got a little too much

I find her expression too serious/tense. And what's that bright dot right in the middle of her crown?

Mabbe you have shots wif light coming from different direction to give it some more "mood".

This is something really refreshing and different.
Razor you always give surprise... :o

Personally, I would prefer the black area at the top and bottom to be cropped off.
The bottle besides her (not refering to the bottom she is holding) also steal some of the attention.

Nice piece of art to be hanged at the bar. :bsmilie:

hey razor... i guess there is nothing wrong with it... may be 10/10 for your creativity :)

I hope I'm not getting this wrong but is this a guy?
someone who looked like your model approached me to do a photoshoot of him/her a year ago

She's a lady cos her friends were there at the shoot and i know them.
