The venue is pretty small. Having 20 person is near max liao. So, for the first gathering, I'm proposing a more manageable number. Anyway, if the first gathering's response is very positive, we can up the frequency of the gathering in a month. At the moment, I'm targeting once a month. If the response so good, maybe twice a month. But be mindful that, more gathering means people have to go out & shoot more & produce more good prints for showcase during the gathering. I thought a more relax timeframe between each gathering will allow all photographers to prepare better with their prints. Note that traditional silver halide prints will need considerably more time to produce than a digital B&W print by printers.

But my feel is that I hope to organise a fruitful & good learning experience for all who attend and in that way everyone will have something to take back with them, in terms of knowledge or prints from the fellow frens.

The last thing I want to have is everyone feeling uncomfortable standing & too crowded and more small talk & the learning process is diminished. In that way, nobody gains and less people will be keen to come again. Think abt it, am I right?

I may require a small token for payment by each person. I'm sugesting maybe $5. This money is to buy some finger food , drinks & refreshments for the session. Sponsor is not a F&B establishment. May need some volunteers that day to help around though. Any volunteers.

I'll only give the venue details to the confirmed list people. Pls respect the rules and not tell the others as I do not want gatecrashers to make a scene at the place. U can call it kiasu, but I think I want all present to enjoy in comfort than have more stress.
