the 4th pic is a bit white/bright leh. :sweat:
 

i think it is ok. not harsh. some insects skin are reflective. especially the Beattles and grasshoppers in your photos. even using macro ring flash. but with your disffuser it i don't see it reflecting so much...

Thanks eileen, still improving on it , the sizes sb 800 can't take the weight. Agreed one of the photos +1 comp that is why brighten up the photos. I am still testing on exposure.
