Here's sharing a couple of clips of Philippine wild birds, all filmed with a Canon 5D2 + 400 - 1600 mm lenses + Sennheiser MKE 400 mic. :)


First series - 8 species (in order of appearance):

[1] Indigo-banded Kingfisher (Alcedo cyanopecta, endemic)
[2] Balicassiao (Dicrurus balicassius, endemic)
[3] Purple Heron (Ardea purpurea, resident)
[4] Purple Swamphen (Porphyrio porphyrio pulverulentus, endemic race)
[5] Black-crowned Night-Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax, migrant/resident)
[6] Philippine Bulbul (Hypsipetes philippinus, endemic)
[7] White-eared Brown-Dove (Phapitreron leucotis, endemic)
[8] Philippine Cuckoo-Dove (Macropygia tenuirostris, endemic).

[10] Collared Kingfisher (Todiramphus chloris, resident)
[11] Blue-tailed Bee-eater (Merops philippinus, resident)
[12] Pied Fantail (Rhipidura javanica nigritorquis, endemic race)
[13] Philippine Duck (Anas luzonica, endemic)
[14] Pied Bushchat (Saxicola caprata caprata, endemic race, female)
[15] Garganey (Anas querquedula, migrant)

I can even see the rain! Great details and good job on the capturing, those lenses, I figure it must be a chore to handle them at such locations!
