i have to say, it does and will affect the market....
im not a photographer... but im in the freelance trade as well.....
its not just abt inexperience can be = free.....
many ppl who are not in this type of industry or who are not freelancers wont understand this concept.
if it is cheap, why not??
most, if not, everyone will have this mindset.
once this starts, its gonna be hard fer the regular freelancers to be charging a certain, standard market rate.
and its also not abt, "if u are afraid blah blah blah, then u shouldnt be in this line blah blah blah...."
theres a reason why theres a standard market rate fer whatever services u are providing.
once this is "taken away", our wages will always be stagnant or in the decline while everything else will keep on rising.
if u feel that u are not up to a certain standard, charge a lower fee and tell ur clients that bcoz u are not up to a certain level of standard, thats y u are charging him only so much.
once u provide services fer free, clients will tend to get "spoilt".
so, pls help each other out,.... everyone needs a chance, and there are certain ways / routes of going abt to do certain things.
