price still high because of availability issues.

Bro, how u gather the number. Not doubting u, just curious.
CRC has 10 5Dmk3 and 1 D800... Nikon, y u no make enough D800???
Harvey Norman quoted me a price lower than retail, but the receipt put official retail price, therefore, the outstanding after deposit is not the same as quoted.
And on my end, I do not have anything to prove the quoted price.
can I know if it's the way on how it works for those who bargained at harvey norman?

Hmm.. Not sure. I did a search here and saw people saying HN can bargain so I tried.
Not sure how this works at HN so I asked.
Isn't that illegal?
If both parties are willing .........
I don't think this kind of practice is legit. However, I think over declaring the price on the official receipt will not get the retailer in as much trouble as underclaring (since ah gong will collect less in GST and it could be construed as tax fraud). Mine is not a legal opinion, just my own personal and subjective one.

SLRR got 1 from what I was told. The strange thing is that some of the older Nikon sellers like Max Photo, Parisilk and Gopes did not get any. Either that or they are not telling the truth.
Not the bargaining part, but the part where the official price on receipt is different from the actual price you pay.
