Does nikon will ship new stocks weekly? Or there is an average interval of shipments?

Normally for me.. i will wait for 6 months before looking to purchase a new camera model.. so i am going to wait and see. Worse come to worse, next trip to US buy there.

MSC selling D800 for around SGD4300! Reserved quickly! :D

Cheaper than canon mark 3

Okay la !!!

I heard every dealers get about 2-3 pcs only, no advice on the next shipment, maybe months accordingly to a dealer I spoke to. I think probably about 20-30pcs island wide, what kind of product rollout is that ? less than what a smaller dealer carry for 5D3 last week. Must be joking, really really PISS.

Don't really like the price! Retailers obviously raise prices!

I really hope 5DIII3 can do a better job (that it is doing), so can give pressure on D800 retailers

4.1 - 4.2k for d800 is quite acceptable in terms of the upgrade you going to get compared to d700... 4.3k is a stretch but i hope won't exceed

It's not the retailer, it's the distributor...

Usually retailers are the ones that help us saving a couple of hundreds.

Price of 2 D800 can't even buy a D4! :(

Can u see?

acceptable?
how about from 5dmk2 to 5dmk3? quantum leap upgrade with the same price tag on the street?
if i'm using 5dmk2, i really don't mind to pay that amount of money for mk3 because the upgrade is a lot more significant than d700 to d800.

make it simple, it's like upsize your meal at Mcdonald. Your friend upsize get large size of fries but you get small size of fries instead. What would you feel?

I have no idea for canon... But if that's the case well i am wrong but that's what i think i terms of nikon only that time anyway.. Hehehehe

Don't want to be a wet blanket, they can quote any price when they don't have stock.
The real and final price is when you have the camera and pay for it.
