Just saw 2 pcs of D800E at Lord's Lucky Plaza. Selling at $4800 Cash

Happened to be in the Funan area, and here are my findings:

There're no stocks for D800, only SLRR has D800E available at RRP. Didn't budge on the pricing, so I didn't ask on set quantity (was looking at D800 instead). Went to CP to find my regular, and they said that the waiting for D800/D800E goes into the hundreds, with stock release only coming in a few sets a week. So it's highly unlikely that prices will go below RRP anytime soon.

Ken Rockwell review suggests that d800 is half as slow as d7000, is that so ?

Quality of pics is v good though.

Ken Rockwell found on this time is preferring more on 5D3....

But if compare vs D7000 & D800 of the IQ on D800 is double quality on D7000.. Even cropped image on D800

How fast PF is depend how you shots like enjoy or you wanna go for sport photograph..
If sports most of time they will going on D4 or D3s.

For me is quite happy and getting it on hand.. If compare my previous cam D700 is quite sad on nothing to suit me
