asking something really silly.. erm..if i have no intention to bring a tripod.
can i still shoot the Aurora Borealis? What are my chances to get a shot that is decent enough??

Tough but u still could look for some available "support" to stabilize your cam. Rare to see an Aurora; good to bring along the tripod. Cheers!
