No lah, I was just joking.
This is an interesting case. Any industry expert here that can tell us whether this is a regular practice?

A car is a car unless you are attempting to tune your ride to Formula 1 Quality of Standards (QoS) so why couldn't a mechanic anywhere be just as competent in his job whether he's working on a Ferrari or a Geely? Even proprietary Electronic Control Units (ECUs) has to confirm to certain industry standards. Majority of components and parts all Made in PRC and ROC by Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEM suppliers no matter what brand it is anyway.Wonder if a Geely workshop can repair a Ferrari or not.
Huh? I thought outsourcing to authorised third party workshop is quite common? No lah, I was just joking.

Audi is nothing but a glorified VW. and overseas, a VW is just like toyota or nissan. I dont know why singaporeans get so high on audi or vw.

A lady met with an accident and sent her Audi car to the Audi workshop for repair. After 3 months the car was not ready.
She visited the workshop and later discovered that her car was in a Nissan workshop.
Sent to Nissan for repair and bill Audi cost of repair??????

Yeah, that's why I posted and quoted the actual ST letter in post #9... as TS didn't quote, nor provided a link, sounded like TS was paraphrasing.
Really can't make head nor tail of, so how does the Madam Goh Meow Cheng expect readers to interpret her intentions? Or could you care to enlighten us?See above.
It is your choice. If you sent yr Audi car to Nissan then it is Nissan. However if you send yr car to Audi, U expect it to be done there.

... some with Facilities Shared Use Agreement (FSUA) with other Agents / Dealers.
There is also no such thing as an "Official Nissan Workshop" here in Singapore as they are all simply third-party service centres authorised under Tan Chong Motor Sales, some with Facilities Shared Use Agreement (FSUA) with other Agents / Dealers.
Why don't you head down and take a look to see if there's any Audi or Mercedes there?I am surprised to hear these are all third party service centres. Do Audi or Merc drivers also send their vehicles there?
