Although it'll be nicer if its a 1.3x crop or a FF. :embrass:

Why the small font? Buying 5D secretly?

Yes, no doubt that the EF-S 10-22mm is wider than 17-40 but unfortuantely it's a EF-S mount. It can't be used on 10D and 1D mk II, let alone all the film cameras. I would rather get the 17-40mm as it serves more purposes, etc.

The build for 17-40L is also much better than any Sigma ultra-wide, it also got internal zoom and internal focus *(consider internal if you place a UV filter in front). u can easily add a 77mm UV or PL but for Sigma u will need 82mm filters which are expensive & hard to find.

Hmm.... a new shop in PS? Din noe abt it... Maybe go there look-see, look-see.

There are so many people interested to buy the above lens, so I just wanted to share a lobang.

I happened to come across this shop "Pro Shop" at Plaza Singapura. They are having a sale for the above lens. This is a warranty set price. Hurry while stocks last. ;p

Yes it is. Its right next to Best Denki.

I called to enquire, the $1199 is inclusive of GST. However, it's a stock clearance sale, and they are sold out already.

Not surprise to hear. Such a good deal is hard to come by. This price beats all the shops such as CP, etc. SOLD OUT man.

I bought mine from CP when it was first launched 2 years back, it was the first batch of 17-40L, IIRC I paid $1230 for that lens, so not really far from $1199.

suprisingly the price still so stable after so long :bsmilie:

So true, and the beauty of most of the "L" lenses is that it retains much of its value when you are considering reselling.

Wah...this shop tried to cheat me last time...I asked for price of RS80N3 and they quoted me $200...;( ;( ;(

Maybe they have mistook it as TC-80N3 or you didn't show your big mama.

While at the Pro Photo shop, check out the 22MP medium format
