I usually take one Nikkor (for AF) and one Zeiss (for optics).

Set A might be Nikkor 16-35 f/4 VR2 + Zeiss Makro Plannar 50/2 ZF.2
Set B might be Nikkor 50 f/1.4 + Zeiss Distagon 21/2,8 ZF.2

And if I feel energetic enough to carry, I bring along Nikkor 105 f/2.8 Macro (in case I need to go in close, or if it rains and I can't get closer, as the follow image, taken with the 105 Macro, illustrates)

Typical afternoon shower in Singapore, but for those who recall my Picture No 4 in Bangkok, this is quite a contrast . As some have commented, three different footwear.

Nice series. What a great life, get to travel all over and shoot.

I'm grateful. But I wish I am travelling to shoot but actually I travel for non-photo work, and have to try and squeeze in some photography. It is less than ideal. During holidays, a different kind of pressure ("Are you going to be long?") as I'm sure you all experience.

Happy Easter! This is in a small town in Scotland. Sorry I remember neither the name of the town nor the church (let me know if anyone recognises it). I wish my D800E auto geo-tags (long overdue!!)

Edit: After a long time spent Googling, I found the details..this is St John's Church in Dunoon. Da-what? Yup, Dunoon. According to Wikipedia, Dunoon is a resort town situated on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll, Scotland. It sits on the Firth of Clyde to the south of Holy Loch and to the west of Gourock. Any wonder why I forgot where I took this picture?
