Good morning to all photographers.

There is a good news I would like to share with all of you. There is this massive Outdoor Advertising exhibition, which is an Asia Pacific event. Exhibitors from all over Asia will be coming together to this event to showcase their products and capability. The organiser of this event is looking for photographers to join them in this event which will occupy most of level 1, 3, 4, 6 halls of Suntec City convention in END OCT 2007.

This event is going to be a chance not to be miss. Heard that one of the photography society is joining the event too. Its actually a way to leverage on the exposure of the event and also to showcase your best works and find customers. There will be content people who are interested in stock images and photographers. I heard we photographers can also print our photos there using large format printers.

If you have a group of professional photographers and is interested in sharing and opening a small booth or want to join in the fun, you can either PM me or email the person in charge of photography portion of the event directly (joey.lim@fuse.com.sg).

Thanks for sharing this information. I actually work for the company that is organising the event and as a budding photo enthusiast, I must say professional photographers are very much the foundation of the advertising industry. Almost all print, poster and almost every other visual begins with the photographer and his or her craft.

That's why we have invited the PPAS to come on board as a supporting organisation because of this very basic reason. Without professional photographers, the world of advertising -- especially outdoor and out of home advertising -- would be quite boring. We hope that this will also help to attract people like you and me -- photo buffs -- to come to the event, find out what the opportunities in this industry are like and to also see what the creative professionals are doing with the great photography they commissioned.

Asia Outdoor Advertising 2007 is the first of its kind in the Asia Pacific. All three components of the event compliment each other - from the conference to the exhibition, to the awards show. The awards will showcase some of the best works from the region, so join us from October 24 to 24, 2007, at Suntec Singapore for the finalists exhibition and experience some great work.

The trade exhibition is open to the public, admission is FREE.
