I like to go tml wif my family.....need some advise :D
Is there more crowd at Jurong Camp or Boon Lay Interchange?

my understanding is that if one is driving, jurong camp has parking facilities. one uses public transport, boon lay interchange is better.

I went to the AOH today, Saturday. Yes, if you're driving, you've to park your car at Jurong Camp.

There're not many people at the AOH maybe because of the COMEX.

If you're going for the live firing, you need to get the ticket early. The SAR21 live firing is also very popular.

got to be there early to get tickets for the ride.. arrived about 11pm and no more tickets unless you want to wait till 5pm for the ride. all earlier rides fully booked.

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen unveiled the leopard tank at around 0900 hrs.

Unfortunately, this event was not for the public to witness as the first public transport to reach Pasir Laba camp was around 0945 as the bus was going round 3 DIV, OCS and then Pasir Laba camp. I was in the first bus that reached Pasir Laba camp.

We were greeted with smoke from smoke grenade when we first reach there, there were many official photographers taking the photo of unveiling the license plate and the Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen was gone after that.

Ex Chief of Defence Winston Choo was also there with his family. He was in the second tonner during the live firing.

Just curious, Whether the pictures that we take at AOH can we post here ?? due to sensitive issues.

Top speed of 72kmh on tarmac roads.

Yes, most probably it will be on static display, but I heard frm a friend that there will be M113 armoured personnel carrier joy rides for the public to try, and firing of weapons...live round or not, I not sure.

it's blanks. cos i'm sorta involved in that as you know -.- the rain is a major issue. some of the passengers got wet due to the vehicles not being able to reach the alighting point in time hahaha.

harrynkl : you're official photograher? ;p
