Hoi! For all you know the robbers are reading this thread with a laptop and laughing their heads off while swatting mozzies in Tekong jungle.

These guys are loaded with new found riches. Anyone receives a good offer in his/her camera-for-sale ad in a photo forum better be careful if it's from Tekong. The buyer won't come to you. You have to deliver the camera. :)

the police coast guards and the navy(possible responsibility) are gonna get toast for letting illegal immigrants LAND.

some heads will roll for sure.

Which country are you from?

You know how big is Singapore to petrol?

Reminds me a bit of the tiger scare on Ubin some time ago. The tiger was never found. Maybe still there.

You mean that's why there are so many amateur photographers combing Ubin every weekend.

They are looking for a tiger?

they misheard, they thought there is a lost Thai girl on Ubin :blah:

700 vs 3 = send one battalion to root out 1/3 of a section...sounds like savign private ryan.

it's not 700 vs 3, it is 700 vs Pulau Tekong, which is 25km² of heavily forested terrain. :blah:

Maybe they should send CSBF Sgt to go comb the area....heh heh...

My frens were discussing this today.. one suggest to initiate 'Operation VietCong' and napalm the place.

Another suggested 'Operation Cockroach', issuing a loudhailer warning over the island for the fugitives to surrender within 36 hours or be subjected to a blanket spray of tear gas and Sarin.

Another suggested 'Operation Zoo Loo' to issue an islandwide alert that a bunch of tigers have been let loose on the island and they are VERY hungry.

The final and most stupid suggestion was 'Operation "I tried my best"', play William Hung over heli-mounted speakers over the island until the fugitives commit suicide. Shouldn't take long; i personally don't think i can't last the first hour.

toopid suggestion ar? OK… grant everyone one week block leave and secure the island (make sure they don't escape by sea), at the end of it if they are still alive and well then we grant them citizenship and a job as Jungle Survivor instructor (on Pulau Tekong!) :D

This is in line with our foreign talent policy and meritocratic philosophy :bsmilie:

haha... I love the suggestions...

You can manage to survive in Tekong if you know how to. So many places to hide and so many places to find food, edible ones that is.

I would still go with Operation William Hung. That would force them to surrender really fast. Make sure we have enough ear plugs for our guys below tho, don't want them committing suicide before the mission is over. :bsmilie:
