Are u getting pop ups while surfin CS forums?

Erm, i have a qns as topic suggests.

Are u getting pop ups?

i seem to be getting pop ups while surfing CS forums....

I was wondering whether is it Clubsnap or issit just me being an isolated case.....

If its not CS, this is a call for help........is my privacy on net being invaded? I keep getting pop ups n i have scanned my system for spy ware n removed them.....what could be causing the pop ups?

ClubSNAP does not have popups. Uh, there's this .dll file I can't remember... Let me search it up.

have you tried running Ad-Aware? certainly helped me clean up all those spywares that were on my machine.

Yea Que lynn, i used ad-aware n remove the spywarez but it seems its still happening.....

quite disturbing........i try acidee link now n see how it goes

Finally i found the root to my problems........

It was a WINSERVS.EXE bug file which apparently leaks memory n searches the net for ads to download hence resulting the pop ups.....

Of all places i checked using Acidee's link i tot i had no choice but to format...but i did a check on startup n fount this "extra" proggie...

Well i cleared it and hopefully no more probs from now....
