Just got back my first roll of film ever taken on a SLR, TMAX-400, with prints. OMG... I love the grain & prints.

I think I'm in love with film. :lovegrin:

hi espn, I'm not sure where you sent your TMAX 400 for development/printing, but labs generally do a poor job of printing B&W. The best results is when you do your own B&W prints. No joke, you will be in awe after you see your own prints.

And that for certain will make you appreciate film even more.

Yesterday just shoot golf fellowship with film as well as digital.

Afternoon they are playing golf and required the photo by evening before the dinner, so shooting film is still the fastest as it can be developing within half an hour and reprint for them.

Digital am afraid may need to do PS and slow down the process.

So sometimes film is still the BEST ..... :lovegrin: :devil: :blah:
