I like #1 and #3. Despite the horrendous stuff they do to Clarke Quay, those things actually make good photos.

Agreed, it is a shocking piece of architecture, in contrasting with these old shophouse. This contrast gives sense of new and old, yet it is sensitive without touching the old shophouse. Umbrellas grow from the ground, yet serving as a cover to user.

zoossh, i m always here, just not much active lately.
Probably I ve not made it straight still, with my new lens. Feeling great to learn again. Feel like taking more building shot next coming week.

don't you find the trees in singapore streets very annoying when taking architecture pics?

hey scapetist,

Singapore is a garden city, as planning much earlier. It is good to have they creating shade and shelther. In architectural photography, it is good to include plants and trees. If you really would like to avoid trees if you can go high upwards and do not capture them.

I am sure you could handle it!

There is no intention to take photo, but it is just a snap. It is a piece of architecture I wish to visit for sometime.
