May I know where shall I meet you guys at 6.15am on July 3? Is it Esplanade? Which part of Esplanade?

I will try my best to reach there on time because public transportation opens at 5.30am or 5.45am.

Unless Kit specifies another location, it should be safe to assume that you peeps would be meeting at the waterfront area by the Esplanade outdoor theatre. It's a Saturday, if you catch the first bus/train, shouldn't have a problem reaching there on time or even earlier to get a good vantage point

Usually when we shoot at Esplanade, we will meet at or behind the outdoor theatre, facing the Merlion.

No problem, you can also try asking around who else is coming if they are driving and if they are near you, can ask a lift from them. That way, you'll be there to catch the 'blue hour'.

Some misunderstanding.....

You are on the reserve list so by right, you are not a participant.......... yet. I can only accommodate 12 1st timers at this session so those on the reserve list will have to wait and see if any of the 12 participants will give up their slots for them to fill up. Even if some participants decide to give up their slots, there is also a queue within the reserve list. You are 6th on the reserve list. That means in order for you to make it to this session, 6participants have to give up their slots. I simply cannot cope with some many 1st timers.

1st timers, you guys are encouraged to start thinking about things you need to enquire on Saturday morning. I believe folks like Dingaroo, Numnumball and coolthought will be more than happy to help you with your questions. Red Dawn will also be joining us (if he remembers to wake up on time).

Zero pressure. If this is your first time, its not about getting it right but more of familiarising with the fundamentals of compositional design, reading of ambient light and various settings on your camera. We will review the morning's work over breakfast. All these is part of the learning process and we aim to make it as fun as possible!
