As some of you might know, I will usually stay at a single location throughout concentrating on 1 photo rather than jet setting here and there. Will consider going to The Helix in upcoming outings. As I can see now, its quite challengingto shoot.

The 'wandering about' happens in the process of discovering new shooting locations I suppose.
Once familiar, it's a matter of getting the rest of the elements right, hence wandering is reduced greatly.

I can't argue with the part on scouting around for locations but I do observe that once the location was found, not enough attention is paid to "getting the rest of the elements right" though.
