APS-C body vs Full Frame Crop diff

To be more exact if having the same framing and settings, setup the same, having full frame means you need to get closer to the subject than crop. The difference in the subject to camera dist affects depth of field.

Now there is true. However do be noted that getting a similar frame at FF but walking nearer compared to a cropped factor taken frame doesn't render the same image. Perspective distortion at different focal length renders a different image.

This is the reason why some photographers who grew with the 35mm film cameras had quite a hard time unlearning everything to accomodate this new FoV vs Perspective during pre-FF era. Using a 28mm as a "Standard Lens" on the APS-C is just weird.
