Hahaha love this topic man ! steadicam operators must be trained by a certified steadicam operator ! and it depends nowadays there is the steadicam flyer which is slightly lighter , if u have the master series it can kill u off ! i reccomend u learn from a guru coz steadicam is not only bout the weight it's the manouvering skills and framing technique , i dream of learning it but after some guru persuasion they told me not to learn steadicam until u're trained by certified trainers coz if u do so u risk getting slipped disc !
