anyone sent their Metz to service by Tithes

Found out that Tithes is now the agent for Metz
Wonder if anyone has any experience with their service?

any improvement over the previous agent ?

Shriro is not the agent for Metz? Fast change after they took over from JJ. Tithes gave good service to us from Contax club in the past.
Well, Kyocera gave up the Contax license in Japan so it is over

Tithes gave gd service to my sekonic lightmeter... i thought it will be gone... since it in quite a bad shape...

Can't comment on the service for Metz though

Yes, after JJ gave up the rights, Tithes took over as the agent for Metz products.

Tithes does not support old Metz models, they told me that they could help me to send the faulty flash to Metz Germany and they would quote me price after Metz Germany identified the problem.

These things aren't complex beasts. Any electronics tech worth his salt should be able to isolate the problem and fix it.

JJ was never the best service provider for photo equipment. So any change should be an improvement. The people at Tithes should be ok. Had good service from them in the past at reasonable prices too. Same with Shiro but of late after the shift Nikon has become ex to send things in for repairs.

Any idea where the new service centre is located?
I hope my hardy 60CT4 won't give me a reason to visit them.
