Hi Chris, saw your portfolio. You do have a good eye for photography. very interesting collection you have.

But these photos are more artistic photos more for personal expressions. Suggest you seriously look at your collections and submit them for suitable competitions. (one coming up is the SAFRA Photographer of the Year, closing date is end of this month. details is at safraphotoclub.com)

Most photography works involve people. You are lacking in people photography. Try more street photography on people. How to interact with people and how to capture people is a lot of practice.

uh. thanks. Hmmm my street shots are usually non people. and i dun really post up my AD and event photos (is there a better website to host it?) . Hmm maybe i should.

My work for competition? hmmm I find it hard to submit it cos i really dunno whats a good standard and wats not. ;p Any advises or particular image you like that i can refer to? thanks.

why dun u PM me the date n times u're free for meetup then we can probably arrange smth.. can ask some other ppl along too.. who to ask? i also dunno... lol.. as long as u dun get pek cek explaining stuff to a noob can liao... lol..:embrass:

hmmm i'm really really open to sharing what i know. i believe we all need to go through the same phase to get somewhere. And an important step in it, is sharing experiences no matter what level we are at because there are definately things that you know that i don't too! With that, why don't you start a outing thread for a general kopi meet up? Can be for both "newbies" and "Oldbies" :bsmilie:. We can from there learn from each other. If you're interested in this. maybe i could help you plan out a rough agenda for the meet up. So everyone can benefit.
