just wondering if anyone is interested in buying software like the http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/ profiler prism. Extra test targets are us$15, so if 1 person bought the software, others who have the test target can send their results to the person with the s/w to generate the icc profile. Perhaps an arrangement can be made to share the costs etc....

There is freeware software based on the Kodak Q-60 test target but the target itself, according to BHphoto is US$40+...

Nice to have, but actually there is not much point in profiling digital cameras. Why? Coz a profile has to be made for each and every lighting condition that you come across - indoors tungsten, indoors flourscent, indoors mixed, outdoors daylight, noon, night - the list goes on.

A profile made under tungsten lighting is not going to be very useful in other situations. And as you know, there are many different types of tungsten lighting.

Unless you work in a studio, under a known and controlled lighting environment, profiling is not worth the trouble.
