I think there are plenty of CSers working for NCS, SCS, Accenture, HP, and IBM. In the programming industry, everywhere is the same I think. If you are on the network side, try to get a CCNA and CCNP. Having a networking background helps a lot in your programming, especially in such times. I can't comment on the individual companies here, but I can say that there are companies that are easier to work in but pay less, and there are companies that pay more but you have to dedicate yourself to the challenging workload.
