Can't find anyone who is selling body only. Have ordered from HK. Did anyone buy the EVF? List is S$499. ebay hk is about S$380 delivered.

Really? So can I use this EA2 adapator with Tamron or Sigma Sony-Mount lens and achieve full manual controls including AF? What I need is just a 28 -75 F2.8 + 18-200 F3.5-6.3 for my pattern of usage. Tamron lens are much smaller, lighter and cheaper than the current E mount lens.

Yes I have used focus peaking with Tamron, Sigma and Pentax lens. Note that for Pentax DA lenses (with no aperture ring), you need to get the adapter which has an aperture ring.

I just took a look at de evf at my regular shop. Really not worth. My regular guy also said no point to buy. Rrp $500.

My take using kit lens 18-55mm. Straight from camera only pix size ...

Agreed, its preferably to buy from the reputable ones which are commonly mentioned in CS.

I just took a look at de evf at my regular shop. Really not worth. My regular guy also said no point to buy. Rrp $500.

For old timers like me, EVF is the main reason I'm buying 5N. The 7 may simply be too big for my taste. Although I love using lots of buttons on a SLR, I take fine photos with fewer buttons. Just takes a little longer. If, eventually, the 7's sensor proves so much better than the 5N, I'll switch, but the initial reports from the A77 shows some compromises.

De 7 is bigger but not dat much bigger. In fact for a guy who finds de current NEXes a tad small, then it might be just perfect. As for de evf, I guess I m just saying dat $499 is really quite ex for wat is basically a small OLED display and de electrical connection. If this evf is already $499 then I expect de LA-EA2 adaptor which has de translucent mirror, phase detect device and screw drive motor to easily cost $699 or more.

$499 is expensive, that;s i bought in ebay, about $380, i also have m43 olympus VF2 costs about $350 locally. so i took the plunge, no local warranty it's ok, but also it's higher spec than VF2 which already is very good. i need it primarily for legacy lenses, i'm not sure peaking will work for me especially daylight, still waiting for adapter to arrive to test the lenses.

$499 for the evf is the RRP if you buy from Sonystyle.

At retail shops, its normally cheaper.
