Anyone familiar with getty images?

Not sure whether can you sell the same images which listed in your Getty portfolio on your own,
but for me, I can't do that with the photos in istock.

anyway, someone ever contact me to buy the same photos in istock, I refer them to istock for downloading the images, it is unethical since I already let istock to manage my images.

Someone wanted my photos free for a charity after seeing it in a stock site. :)

Bro. I have not hooked up with Getty, but I do recall reading their T&C before when they sent me the invites a while back when it..
Yikes. The T&C is super long. I'll just edit out that part. Please edit yours as well. THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP!

istock have weekly free images, ask them to download from there.......;)

Good to see Flickr has opened the doors for many great photographers here to Getty.

Do not underestimate Getty/flickr.

My friend told me someone sold a photo for £1500 through it.

But it was not an easy photo to shoot. It was a group of horses running over waters.

Sorry for digging up an old thread. I have some questions here regarding Getty Images.

I have just signed up with them after getting an invite via email. However I am facing a problem, which is the model release form. The pictures which they have selected, all but 1, are my people shots from overseas, and these people I do not even know them, and mainly are young children. Have anyone here had the same scenario before and was successful in getting the images uploaded to Getty? I am having problem sending them email thru their website "contact us" portion, somehow it can't get thru. Any one knows of any alternative email where I can send them queries?

as long they are identifiable, you will need model release, young or old, no exception. unless it is under editorial licence.

Thanks boss.

Seems like can't be used then as there's no way I can get that release form signed....:(

Worse, the computer that stores the original landscape picture that they selected have just crashed. I need to go find my backup disk to see if I have backed up there. If its also gone then there's none that can be uploaded this round. They say the Flickr file don't meet size requirement for that picture and need bigger file...
