Sounds like a good deal, especially if it includes the original leather casing. Don't mind the wait.

It's highly unlikely to sell at $660 with 4G SDHC and leather case thrown in leh. The bulk purchase is not 2000 sets hor. It's (1) a newly launched product, (2) retails at $799, (3) leather case cost price not likely to be cheap.

I haven't bought the LX3, but am not holding my breathe for the MS package too ;p

I brought along my D-LUX2, took some shots and then put SD in LX3 and took some shots, at the same time brought along my Fuji F30 and did the same to compare with F60D. Just by looking at the LCD for both cameras, it looks like older models for both better leh... going to review the shots at home on pc to see the results for both cameras.

My initial feeling just by reviewing from LCD screen, it is not worth the upgrade. Most likely I will wait for uFT camera.

i have been reading quite a lot lately for the Compact camera as we are preparing for a Paris-Italy Trips, which i do not wish to miss any nice scenary.. even though i have a K20D already..but its for my gf.. so i think Lx3 fit into the picture nicely.

I drove down to Suntec at 3.30pm, thinking it's the middle of the afternoon on the first day, so should be easy to get in. WRONG!! Entrances to Suntec carpark was blocked by police or security guards (even though it was not Full based on the electronic signboards). :bigeyes:

Marina Square - FULL. Millenia Walk - FULL. Conrad Hotel - FULL. Centennial Tower - CLOSED. :sweat:

I drove around for a good 30 mins trying to find a way in and finally gave up... Did someone say there was a Recession goign on?? :think:

Anyway, looks like the LX-3 will have to wait, maybe head out to AMK when MS' offer starts....

Anyway I thought of getting either TZ15 or LX3.
So I tried sms Aaron.
His initial reply was LX3 has better offer.
So I tried asking if the offer will be better than MS Colour and asked him to provide me his offers for both models.
The next sms I got from him was Sorry, no more stock.

All these happened in like 15 min?

I'm like wt...? :thumbsd:

But I just find it kinda lame if his initial reply was LX3 has better offer and when I asked if we can have better deals than MS Colour, the next reply I got was no more stock. If really no more stock, then he can just said so during his 1st reply.

I'm not here to flame him or what.
He's just temp-ing there and to get more comm anyway. And he has offer to neg for better deals.

Putting that aside, 1st week of Sep is like only next week anyway. Heh. ;p

And when i reply, "anymore re-stock?"
