are you sure? my A-900 died without notice... luckilly not when I am shooting an assignment.

A-700 that I have seems to work better than A-900.. bad luck maybe? but 20k on shutter isn't any close to 50% than the expected count.

sorry to hear about your A900.

but i have to ask, in what way, do u feel that your A700 is better than your A900?

just need a little vaccine for the BBB virus.. still love my A700..

Ah well, A900 and any camera after all is an electronic, so it will break down regardless...

It turn out to have a faulty aperture roller part...

Anyway, it has been rectify and tested some shots just now with 58mm f1.2.... interesting!

A-900 is all honesty a nice camera to use. Yes, it has shortcoming, but which camera doesn't?

You should see my A-900... I tape the words "SONY", "A-900", "Alpha" with tape so it just plain black if you see from the front. Also replace the strap with brand-less strap... Sorry Sony.. no advertising for you.

Why you embarrassed to use a sony? i proudly display my sony.

i think its common to gaffer the brand names or model numbers. alot of canon and nikon and other users do that too.

I am not ashame of using Sony stuff. But I don't see the point of having them there. I am not a great fan on how Sony singapore take care of the working professional. So naturally, I exclude the brand.

I shoot little children and get ask by their parent and the brand I use, I tape it to avoid that part of conversation.
