wah Newbie got MS pro liao huh. Wat brand and how much??

CP told me don't have in the market yet...

ney......currently dun have.....but think of getting a multi reader that support it.......

looks like from other reviews, firewire multi card reader still manage to edge out usb2.0 multi card by a bit........

Never mention anything about mem stick pro lei..

Currently the only MS readers (not multi readers) that can support MS PRO are the SONY MS readers (I think it's due to the MagicGate in the MS PRO. Grrgh).

However they are very expensive, above $100 for one.

I think if you wait for the June's IT show, there may be some.

There are some Taiwan company, like DataFab Systems, announcing a newer 7-in-1 with MS PRO support.

"DataFab Systems Inc., the world leader in flash card reader/writer industry, today introduces the USB 2.0 7-in-1 flash card reader/writer which accommodates CompactFlash™ Type I/II, IBM Microdrive™, SmartMedia™, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital, Memory Stick™ and Memory Stick PRO™"

Yes. Although the Firewire is rated at 400Mbps while the USB 2.0 is rated at 480Mbps.

In reality, USB 2.0 never even come close to the 480Mbps, while the Firewire can achieve a speed much closer to their 400Mbps rated speed.

The same goes for USB 2.0 external HDD casing Vs IEEE1394 external HDD casing.

Ops.... i nvm know that MS reader can access MS Pro. Nvm play MS b4.... :embrass:
