What raw files you wanna convert, I'm no expert but I think you can go to the respective cameller manufacture site to download the software. I think it is free.

the software Canon give to you is free and good. use it.

next time urgent shoots don't shoot raw.

honestly yea. they made it look like lightroom, but you can't batch process or export. and it's ridiculously slow

On my machine where I don't have PS installed? Yeah. Especially now that they massively improved the noise engine and the output is getting close to ACR.

If you don't have the $$$ for PS, the supplied software is more than good enough.
