Hi all FCS users and experts out there

I'm looking for good and value-for-money 3rd parties FCP 6 or Motion templates/plugins (for instance 3D Montage with Dropzones or cool lower-third templates for text etc)? The templates that came bundled with the Final Cut Studio 2 are mostly designed for NTSC or PAL, but very limited for HDV. Hence I'm looking out some of these templates to help spice up my HD video projects.

I have searched through the web and found some websites selling such packages. However, many of them are rather costly and I couldn't really figure out whether they are really value for money (as some only contain a few templates but cost almost US$100). There are probably some of you out there who had purchased and made very good video with them, hence would like to tap on your experience to advise which of these are really good and worth purchasing. Thanks and appreciate your comment.

Regards

Hi KCBox

Thank you for your recommendation. Yes, indeed this site is filled with interesting deal and probably I will try downloading some of the sample effects to try. I would probably monitor it for a good deal.

Have you purchased any of their toolkits or effects, are they really useful? Do you happen to have any recommendation for specific toolkits or bundle that we should go for? Any issue with their DVD/package delivery? (actually would prefer downloadable version if available, at least, immediate fulfillment than to wait for the DVD) Thanks and appreciate your comment.

I've the entire library of DJ - on Disc. Jumpbacks are always useful if you're always announcement/corporate/informative videos.

Hi Hobbes

Thanks for the info. However, if you don't mind, would like to ask a little further, Jumpbacks are just backgrounds right, if I need lower-thirds, Masks etc, should I go for the Editor Theme Kits or Editor Toolkits? All in all, they work out to be quite a sum. As I don't really have deep budget, is there a recommended bundles or Toolkits to go for? Thanks.

Regards

Hmm.. to be honest, the 'needs' will always going to be endless, you could first try to get jumpbacks and make your own lower-thirds.

The only thing I find really useful are the jumpbacks and the swipes. - But you could always make your own jumpbacks with motion (its pre-made already acutally)
