Anyone recently purchased any gear from valuebasket since i am planning to buy Tamron 70-200 VC (NIKON mount)

There is thread but i cannot see any last 1 yr recent purchases from our friends. pls let us know your inputs

I've been buying from them since 2013. About 6 lenses and a Canon 6D body. Never had a problem. Prompt in most cases. Between 1-3 weeks. Had one incidence when it took more than a month but I was kept informed of the delay on the tracking page. Delivered by DHL. Package protected by tough air filled plastic. Latest purchase was a Canon 40mm f2.8 pancake lens for $188.

I've bought online from Lazada before and packaging is not very consistent. Usually end up with dented boxes.

Please don't blame me if you have a bad purchase. Just sharing my experience. Didn't know about negative threads. Maybe I was lucky.

As a former customer (bought one item from them 2-3 years ago, not directly but via qoo10, so there was some element of protection if the goods didn't materialise), received this in an email recently, posting it here for awareness.

Hope no CS-ers made any recent purchases and got caught out.
