Any one from Singapore Police Force Here?

Already 1 month, until now never receive any reply from SPF....sigh......

Why u want to become a prison officers? Although, I have not work there b4, but I think the workin conditions is that good. Everyday, u will have to be like the prisoners and confined to the prison. However, they have higher pay leh.... Consider the police force better leh. At least it will be more interesting, in my opinion.

Ermmm maybe they have lots of application to process. Wait a while more leh... u have not been called up for medical checkup yet??

For myself, after I had completed the interview, I was immediately informed to come back for a medical checkup straight. I was confident then that I had already been selected as not all interviewee were told to come back.

Siewsphone;

Take heart. Someone i knew from before applied and it took them almost 3 months before they got back to her, so just hang in there and keep waiting.

This career you choose to embark on is quite worthwhile, but only and only if you really enjoy what you do and really really want to dedicate your life to this job. It isn't as bad as some make it out to be, but neither is it a total bed of roses.

However, listen to both Royzzz and Sinner. Both of them have been around longer than myself in the Force and their views and experience should count for more.

well I did consider police but nonethless I have decided and made my choice.

Oh, okie. I just spoke with an prisoner officer last nite and found out some stuff from him. What he told me is that the job is very stressful as only 2 or 3 officers are around lookin after some 70 to 80 inmates. But I believed that u will join as a senior officer and so I think that this will not be your job scope. Anyway, just to inform you.

Royzzz are, we both can transfer to the career centre at Tracom already.
