I intend to print a 8 x 8" 300dpi coffee table book of about 30 pages, for my friend's wedding. The layout has been done, so i only need someone to print and bind the book. No need for personalized covers, but paper should be of archival quality.

As this is the first time i'm doing this, i have no idea about the cost of such prints. I have a budget of around $80.

To all the pro wedding photogs out there, pls advice me on where to find shops offering such services in Singapore.

Binding (perfect binding) alone can cost around $20+, printing usually cost $1.50 per page (A4), so i doubt your budget is enough.

As ahsosl1e8, also interested to have a copy for MYSELF. ;p Since you know the ballpark figure, can you share the company name? Thanks.

my budget is only a reference... i really dunno the market rates. Pls advice on where to find such shops.

Fotohub.com has a service called FotoStory. 8"x8" 30pp is about $210-$220+ depending on choice of cover material. Samples and details are only in-store, can't seem to find anything on their site.

myphotoideas.com should be able to meet to your budget.

Personally, I have yet to try out their printing as I got a mailer from one of my associates just recently. They even go to the extend of providing you with a software to do up your layout. Price wise is really competitive. However, the paper used is 176gsm glossy paper and I'd personally not choose this for a wedding coffee table but rather, as a photo journal or overseas journal.

Hope you'll find it useful.

Cheers

The above seems like a very viable option

I've tried the myphoto ideas service. Pretty good. What I like is the software can let you do stuff like stretch the whole photo across a 30x30cm page. OF course your photo must have be of high resolution. Print out is quite good, especially skin tone.

I think they can change the paper to matt on request.

Hope this helps.
