What is the widest aperture of the lens? I don't think it will work well with a teleconverter

birding requires patience, and understanding of how the subject behaves. just because you have a teleconverter doesn't mean you have to do birding.

do you know the required set up? the focal ranges? the places? the other gear you'll need? where they have their habitat? how to ensure that you're not harming them?

you have to factor all these in as well...
