Benefit of using a file in excess of 300dpi - no, unless you intend to print it in 4R, 8R and 10R all from the same 1 file. In any case, the Frontier should be able to perform some sharpening for you.

Assuming your pix is already, say, 1800x1200, USM in PhotoShop will be more than enough.

Reso for print sizes (on Frontier / FDIs) -

4R - 1800x1200
5R - 2100x1500
6R - 2400x1800
8R - 3000x2400
S8R - 3600x2400
10R - 3600x3000

So long as you keep to this approx res, you should be okay. Just remember not to push the details of your image right the the edge of the 1800x1200 (or whatever res you are using). There may be a 15-20 pixel crop-off in some cases.
