Any fireworks This year end

It is directly across AMK Hub. I didn't know it was for fireworks.

Any fireworks at AMK at the end? I was in Cinema watching Warlord to pass my new year. :bsmilie:

yea mann! i totally wasn't prepared for where the fireworks were gonna be shot from. my first time shooting fireworks and i didnt know where they'd shoot from lol. i ended up with pictures of fireworks only without any background whatsoever. quite sad case ):

Yea, even the tv station crew from channelnewsasia thought the fireworks will be launched from the usual spot as i heard them discussing where to shoot. But i had my suspicions early on as i didn't see any platforms at the old spot, instead i saw them in front of one fullerton, but i chose to believe the tv crew, so now pics all got a chopped merlion as my lens were not wide enough. Lol.

Just came back from the countdown @ marina, the crowd control was very bad and traffic arrangements were a bad experience for me. I waited @ the bus stop for the bus(night rider), wait and wait for 1 and half hour, cannot get onto the bus. In the end took cab home. :angry::angry::angry: $18.

did a recce of the marina bay on the previous sat, the recce paid off

stake out at the open field near the IR construction site, got some nice shot of the fireworks start along with a city scape backdrop

abit sian as i read from the countdown website that at 10.30pm and 11.30pm there would be some small fireworks fired off from building top to spike up the excitment before the grand finally but there was none

overall was pretty happy with the shots i got, think i manage abt 10 shots that i feel is nice and good.

all the night bus service were stuck along pennisula and central. the nr8 i took was stuck there for 1/2hr. lots of people asking the bus driver regarding the service route at the bus stop.

also, dont forget, now taxi very $$$$$, lots of people switch to mrt and bus service.

i felt the human traffic control was very bad as well. there were barriers set up all around the 'exclusive' areas. a lot of bottle necks and there were certainly high chances of stampede.

i was at the bras brasah complex 24th floor. no human traffic problem. but from the angle, i have seen much better fireworks. anyway, at least it was not smoke out this time round.
