the dog itself would rather be himself and not wearing any cloth.

Same here.. i prefer not to see the dog wearing these cute clothes ... the essential item i'd buy are the shoes. Helps alot during rainy weather, especially when the dog comes back from a walk when the ground is wet, at least they want nip and start licking their paws ... ..

If i am not mistaken, imports from Australia does not need quarantine ... If you ship it as live animal on board the plane, you can pick up the dog at Changi cargo terminal the minute you touch down. Just have to do some minor paperwork (pay the relevant taxes, if any) and you can go home with your lovely pet.

But i think you are not allowed to import dogs younger than 6 months. But many people (pet shop owners, breeders, dog lovers, etc) still do it, but they will not have the pedigree certs because those will have the dogs' birth dates.

You can ... but the vet checks required to transport the pet back here is :sweat: ... it takes quite a few days and if you know your way around, it shouldn't be a problem.

what if the australia pet shop did all the checking and have all the requierd vet checks cert. Do u know you many hrs does the pup get to singapore?

I think what he meant is that it may take a few days to go around in Australia to do all the medical checks and get all the relevant document in order for shipping the pet back. After that ... no need to quarantine in SIN. But still got to get your doggie license from AVA.

If you plan on shopping for a pet in MEL ... check with the pet shop or the airlines about the shipping charges of the pet ... Make sure it is worth it to buy from overseas ...

Never understimate a GSD's strength, especially if he's large in size :sweat:... nearly got dragged down once, now at least know how to handle them...
