plastic said:I have a Dashund and a Mongrel... actually, I have always loved mongrels as opposed to pedigree because they are much more hardy and have gone through nature's "filtration"... only the fittest will survive and by the 3rd generation, you are getting real hardy dogs.
And also, partly from the fact that I was the last generation of "kampong" boys who grew up on a pig/veggie farm. We had a pack of about 40 mongrels around the house. Without them, I would have probably been a victim of snake bite.
Dashunds are great because though they look like toy dogs, they are actually bred for hunting and they find their own exercise, and hardly need me to exercise them. And they are smart as hell, though the hound class dogs are usually very stubborn so I end up having to break them in for the first year, and they become very loving pets. I simply adores hunting dogs. Except for beagles. They are just way too rebellious.
plastic said:Nope. But I love these hygene fanatics. The Dobs are the cleanest dogs to have... they will never soil their living space unless the owner really don't have time to take them out to do their business...
maybe he a vet or vet asst. :bsmilie: :think:Haze said:wow u seem like know alot about dogs..

I'd suggest cleaning it off with ammonia to totally get rid of the smell. When rascal dos his busniess in the right place do you praise him? Ask you mom to let him do buensoes before letitng ihm out first? Also is his 'toilet' near his resting/playing place if so that might not be a good idea as you certinly wouldnt like to play or sleep near your own busniess...
