Well... for 4/3 mount... at the moment only got ZDs, Sigma and Leica...

U are aware of the Four-Thirds mount rite?

And i dun have the 50mm lens, jus providing the price from the List that's all.

Wah... i saw the 105mm price. it is almost the same as the camera price.... low wages worker like me must take a longer time to buy it man.... maybe i will try out my marco converter from raynox with my kit lens when i finish my exams(part time) and will tell you guys about it... thanks all for all your kind help.... but seem like onli little ppl using the E system.... :bsmilie:

Strange :think: , I don't find Sigma 30mm listed as a Macro lens http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3300&navigator=6. It has magnification of 1:10.4 not 1:1.

the sigma 30mm is not even a macro lens!

I'm trigger happy with the 35mm but I think I'm ysing the 35mm for macros and upgrade a 50mm f2 for portraits because of its 100mm(35mm equiv.) and bokeh. The olympus 35mm is a very good-for-value piece of glass.

If you do not mind manual focus, try to get an extension tube to go along with the 40-150mm or use reverse setups. can save some $$$. :bsmilie:

ya can still autofocus.

yeah, the best thing about the EX25 is that you can 'convert' all your lenses into macro lenses... macro wide, macro tele, etc

it's an extension tube used to shorten your effective focal length of the lens. so if you need to go nearer to focus, your subject gets magnified.

again for pricing, pls look at the sticky. and where to get it? same place you bought your camera, guess

hi since u just got a new cam ..y not join the outing that orangise by Oly singapore for their natual photo and u will get to try the ex-25 and see if u like it or not..

It is actually not easy to use the EX-25 extension tube on the lenses. Most of the time, you would have to move the camera forward until it is in the working range which is usually very limited before the autofocus could work at all.

u bought at HN right? any workshop vouchers from them when u purchase your E500? or maybe theres' no more promotion with Oly spore for the training voucher...i am not too sure.

Because the Sigma 30mm is not a macro lens. AFAIK, ZD35mm and 50mm, and the Sigma 105mm and 150mm are macros.
