Hey
I recently wanted to get the Tamron 18250. But when I was at the store I decided to give the Sony 18250 a go and ended up leaving the store with the Sony. For just around $50 more I got a better build quality, faster auto focusing, less CA and actually the zoom was slightly more even thou both 250.
Also regarding the tamron 70300, I personally have not used it but I did a bit of research. Alot of reviews prefer the 70200 to the 70300. Clubsnap has a few reviews on this I think. I was goin to get a tamron 70200 but I found a Sigma 170-500 for $520. I decided to play around with this lens first before I spend some serious bucks on such a big zoom lens.
