They can die by some other means la...like drinking toxic or jumping sea/river. Dun go out there sabo other innocent people ma!

I feel like dying now, after reading your post. Will you be kind enough to tell me a way to commit suicide that has same level of impact and publicity offered by the MRT?
You see jumping sea/river, the boby may not be found and people will think it is accident. No impact leh.
Drinking Toxic is worse, nobody knows you are dead at home.

tis type of people that jump becourse of a damm reason of no money..i can give them 1 word on my mind..go hell...want to jump, go else where , a place where yr body cant be found..

These ppl are desperate that they are willing to sacrifice their precious lives for their family to draw attention to their plight so that their family gets help.
Not implying that this is the correct thing to do but they have the courage to die for ppl whom they loved dearly...

Ya but jumping on track may cause accident and many more people might die along with the jumper........and if their families can live and enjoy the windfall, they are not normal.......

Nowadays, faster and credible news from EDMW hardwarezone members then CNA.

It seems that the media here is now downplaying the news about train accident.

No link as I heard it on radio but I read the report at EDMW first.

I still believe that the only way we'll get a safety barrier like the one at HK Disneyland MTR is when a pregnant lady commits suicide on the tracks as the public outcry will be great. Even today, I don't see the MRT staff patrolling the station. Looks like profit over safety issues.

The media is trying to prevent copycat deaths. They figure that people are likely to jump too if they see if others are publicised after they die. Hopefully the trend will stop.

Lost cause, my friend. If they wanted to do it, they would have done it long ago.
